This problem occurs when you try to link a phone number to your account in SETTINGS.
This means that an account with the phone number is already registered in our system. You can register an account with just your email or your mobile phone number. So you probably have two accounts, one registered with a phone number and one registered with an email.
How to solve this problem:
- Log into the account using the phone number you want to link.
- If you cannot log into your account, try resetting your password and logging in again
- Transfer your funds from this account to the account where you want to link the phone number.
- Send a request to delete your phone number account to privacy@latoken.com, and provide the phone number in the email.
Our team will process your request and delete the account. Then you will receive an email that the account has been successfully deleted. Now you can link your phone number to the second (email) account.
Alternatively, you can simply reach out to LATOKEN Support and request help in merging your two accounts together.
