Every user on the LATOKEN Exchange Launchpad can observe that Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) are assigned a score ranging from 0 to 5. These scores, known as Verification Points, are awarded based on the submission and validation of specific documentation during the IEO preparation phase.
Each verification point corresponds to one of the following categories: Team, Advisors, Fundraising Rounds, Partnerships, and Token Issuer.
Verification Procedure
To achieve a verification score, projects must follow the steps outlined below:
1. Token Issuer
Projects must provide official documentation confirming the incorporation of their legal entity. Required documents may include:
- Certificate of Incorporation
- Certificate of Shareholders
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
2. Founders and Team Members
-
Founders:
- Each founder must have a LinkedIn profile that clearly lists their position within the company, along with details of their experience and education.
- Founders must either participate in a video call with an account manager or record a 30-40 second introductory video stating their full name, position in the company, and other key details. Official identification (ID) is also required.
- Any biographical information intended for the Landing Page must be verified through official documents or LinkedIn profiles.
-
Team Members:
- While LinkedIn profiles are not mandatory, team members must either join a video call with the account manager or submit a 30-40 second video introducing themselves. Official IDs must also be provided.
3. Advisors
- Advisors should reflect their role within the company on their LinkedIn profiles.
- If this is not feasible, they can verify their involvement by contacting the account manager via LinkedIn and confirming their advisory role.
4. Fundraising Rounds
If the project has completed pre-seed or other fundraising rounds, the following documents must be provided to verify the raised capital:
- Signed investment agreements
- Confirmation from a VC fund
- Bank statements (for fiat investments)
- Ethereum transaction data (for cryptocurrency investments)
5. Partnerships
All partnerships mentioned on the Landing Page must be substantiated by:
- Signed agreements between the project and the partner.
- A partner-issued press release announcing the partnership, with the project’s logo displayed on the partner’s website.
- Alternatively, the account manager can directly contact the partner for confirmation if agreements or press releases are unavailable.
Scoring System
Projects that successfully verify all five categories receive the maximum score of 5/5.
- If the project has no fundraising rounds or partnerships, it will receive a "None" designation instead of "Not Verified" in those categories. This ensures fairness without penalizing projects for lacking certain elements.
This scoring system is designed to reflect the reliability and trustworthiness of projects, helping investors make informed decisions.
