How to Generate an API Key?

To generate API Keys for your LATOKEN account, please ensure you have logged in for at least 24 continuous hours without disconnection. If you get disconnected, the timer resets, and you’ll need to wait another 24 hours. Once ready, follow these steps:

1. Access API Keys

   • Log in to your account.
   • Click on "Profile" in the top-right corner of the screen, then select "API Keys."

2. Create API Key

• Click on "Create API Key."
• Enter a label for the key (for easy identification; it can be anything you like).

• Choose a permission set for the key. Available options include Read-only and Trade for all users.

However, if you require API keys with permission to Transfer or Withdraw funds, you must pass KYC verification for your account, then those permission sets will be automatically unlocked for use.

3. Save Your Keys

• After entering the details, click "Create API Key."
• A screen displaying your Public Key and Private Key will appear. Save these keys immediately as they won’t be displayed again. If you close the window without saving, you’ll need to restart the process.

4.Manage API Keys

• Your created keys will appear under the "API Keys" section of your profile. Once the API key is successfully created, you can see it along with any other active keys in "API Keys" section of your LATOKEN profile.

5. Revoking an API Key

1. • To revoke a key, click the "x" in the top-right corner of the key’s box. This action permanently deletes the key and its associated access.

Revoked keys will appear greyed out under the "Create API Key" section for reference.

This will permanently delete the key and remove any access it had to your account.

Past revoked API keys will now appear greyed out under the "Create API key" box/section.
